The Ocean at the End of the Lane and All the Light We Cannot See

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gailman

I REALLY liked the Graveyard Book, so I thought I’d give this one a try before reading it outloud to the kids. I quickly decided NOT to read it outloud. :/ It was a quick short read, but a little too much(dark?) for my youngins.

All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

Beautiful (and sad) book written from the prespective of a young blind French girl during World War II. LOOOOOOVED IT. (Well, I cried too, but really I loved the book.)
