I am certainly a busy lady. I don’t know how I have time for half of the items on our daily to-do list, but we make it work. Occasionally I’m a geographically single-mom, I homeschool the small humans, have a beautiful purse puppy, we volunteer in our community, I’m always continuing my education, I run a small business, we travel the world, and I wear all the hats; accountant, maid, cook, referee, lawn-mower, auto-mechanic, tour guide, chauffeur and the rest of those pesky adulting things. We currently live in a foreign country. So, you see, I have all the excuses in the world to not have time to sit down and read a book. But I make it happen. Two books a week. If I can do it, you can too.
I’m not a writer by nature, and I had to right-click and spell check at least a dozen words in this “about” section. However, I find myself being asked weekly for a good book recommendation. So, every week, I’ll share my two books with you.
I highly recommend keeping a book-log. I’ve found that I come across titles that look interesting…so I buy them, sit down to read and find out I read the book 5 years ago. Ha! Keeping a book log will also help you keep track of your reads, so you can quickly recommend good books to friends as well.
